Day 1 - Arrival

The rental car will be waiting for you at Split airport. After about 20 minutes driving you will arrive at hotel Jadran in Seget Donji. You will stay here for the next 7 nights.
2

Day 2 - Krka waterfalls

Discover the natural beauty of Krka National Park at your own pace. The largest waterfall in the Krka national park is Skradinski Buk, which counts 400 meters at its widest point. A few hiking trails run right along the waterfall and you will not soon forget a walk about it. The natural beauty of the waterfall is unimaginable and leaves a deep impression on most hikers in the nature reserve. The second spectacular waterfall is the Roski Slap, where the water plunges about 20 meters. In addition to the waterfalls and the river Krka itself, the park offers 860 different plant species and some endangered species.

Day 3 - Trogir

The charming town of Trogir is a medieval treasure in Croatia. The grandiose buildings in the town will make you feel like you've stepped into a time machine! The Cathedral of Saint Lovro is built in Roman Catholic style and is one of the most imposing buildings in Trogir. In the main square in Trogir you can enjoy the lively noise while enjoying a meal or drinking a coffee. The place to people watch!

Day 4 - Sibenik

Don't be fooled by the slightly scruffy view of the outskirts of Sibenik. These suburbs are only proof that Sibenik is still a piece of authentic Croatia. By the time you reach the medieval core of Sibenik, you will be happy that this place is not yet as famous as the other Dalmatian towns. There is a lot to see and do, but simply strolling around and soaking up the atmosphere is also worth it. The Saint James Cathedral of Sibenik If you only visit one landmark in Sibenik, let it be St. James Cathedral. This cathedral has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since the year 2000, and is undoubtedly the most important Renaissance monument in all of Croatia. Although the plans for the cathedral were known since 1298, construction started in 1431 and was not completed until 1536. The curious thing about this cathedral is that it does not have a bell tower, as there was already a bell tower nearby.

Day 5 - The Fortress of Klis

Fancy more history? Then you can drive your rental car towards Klis, a village where you will find the Fort of Klis. Game of Thrones fans will immediately recognize this place. Various scenes from S4, S5 and S6 were shot here, just like in Diocletian's palace in Split. The history of Klis goes back centuries, even before the time of the Romans. One of the most important periods in the history of the fort is around the 15th and 16th centuries. The Ottoman Empire, the Venetian Republic and the Habsburg Monarchy are all doing their utmost to get and keep the fortress. For years, if not centuries, the fortress is conquered and recaptured.

Day 6 - Zadar

When you walk on the promenade of Zadar you suddenly hear music. On the boulevard you will find two very special works of art, a sea organ and a beautiful monument that works on solar energy, called "Greetings to the Sun" (Pozdrav Sunce). The sea organ is a unique musical instrument, the sea plays the pipes of this underwater organ and the tones and melody change with every wave. The "Greetings to the Sun" is a circle 22 meters in diameter. It consists of 300 glass tiles on the same level as the natural stone tiles of the boulevard. Under the glass tiles are solar modules that convert sunlight into lighting for when it is dark. With the help of specially programmed scenarios, it creates a beautiful light show in many colors, in the rhythm of waves and to the sound of the sea organ. You can compare it to a very nice disco floor, but much more impressive!

Day 7 - Blue cave tour

Get a comprehensive overview of the Dalmatian archipelago in just one day on a speedboat tour from Trogir. Benefit from the personalized service of a small-group tour as you discover natural attractions such as the Blue Cave and Stiniva Cove, learn about the region's cultural heritage in the towns of Hvar and Komiza, and enjoy snorkeling and swimming at the nearby islands.

Day 8 - Departure
