Experience the beautiful nature on this beautiful island on foot, which has been voted by many newspapers and magazines as one of the most beautiful islands in the world. It is Croatia in its purest form. Korcula is a one and a half hour boat ride from Dubrovnik and is 47 km long and about 7 km wide. In addition to old towns, beautiful beaches and bays, you can enjoy the beautiful nature and gastronomy with even organically produced wine. Narrow hiking trails lead past centuries-old olive trees, through vineyards and you walk through wonderful smelling forests. Along the way you will see Dalmatian villages with terracotta-colored roofs, romantic bays with clear blue water and the most beautiful beaches.

Day 1 - Arrival

Arrival at Dubrovnik airport (14:30h) followed by the transfer by minivan to Korcula.

Day 2 - 13km, 04:00u, 390 ↑↓

Walk to Pupnat. You walk on an old road that was built in the time of Napoleon. Via this road you arrive in Pupnat, this is the oldest village on the island of Korcula, about 12 km from Korcula town. The village has been cleverly moved by settlers in the hilly part of the island to not be noticed by pirates.

Day 3 - 15km, 04:00u, 160 ↑↓

Walk to the fishing village of Lumbarda. This is a village with quiet and cozy beaches and delicious wines. The Grk grape is grown around the village and used for fine dessert wines and white wine. Most winemakers produce enough to provide local restaurants with their wines and to meet their own needs. A good reason to try the local wine at the restaurants in Lumbarda!

Day 4 - 15km, 04:30u, 240 ↑↓

Walk through a sheltered and narrow forest path to the Pavja Luka bay. The pebble beach is clean here and the water as always crystal clear. After visiting this beautiful beach you continue the hike on quiet paths to the seaside resort of Žrnovo.

Day 5 - Cooking class

Are you taking a rest today or enjoying a short walk? Later in the day we participate in a special cooking class.

Day 6 - 10km, 03:00u, 350 ↑↓

Walk to the ancient protected nature reserve Kocje with interesting rock formations. The area has an area of approximately 10,000 m2. According to legend, fairies have lived here that sometimes helped the locals. The water source in this nature reserve is therefore called "Good Fee". The route runs through the village of Žrnovo via an impressive and wooded route back to the hotel.

Day 7 - 12km, 04:0u, 230 ↑↓

Departure to Dubrovnik in the morning. Along the way there are 2 walks on the program, the highlight of which is the walls of Ston, the largest urban fortification project of the then Europe with a total length of 5,5 kilometers.

Day 8 - Dubrovnik & departure

After breakfast to Dubrovnik for a tour of 1 hour by a Dutch speaking guide. We leave for the airport in the early afternoon.
Itinerary subject to change. It is possible that we have to adjust the program due to weather conditions or local events.

Accommodation

Hotel Cavtat *** - Cavtat
Hotel Cavtat is on the seafront and has a rooftop swimming pool with views of the sea and the city. It offers air-conditioned rooms with a furnished balcony. You can relax on the hotel's beach, which is equipped with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a restaurant at the hotel. All rooms have satellite TV and a private bathroom. Safes are available at the 24-hour reception. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. You can also use a communal sun terrace on the roof. You can also book massage treatments.

Hotel Marco Polo **** - Korcula
Hotel Marko Polo is a short walk from the center of Korčula. You will find an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant, a café and a souvenir shop. There is also a wellness center, beauty salon, gym and 2 swimming pools. The rooms and suites at the Marko Polo are air-conditioned and feature satellite TV, a telephone, a safe and a minibar. Each has a private bathroom with a bath or shower and a hairdryer. All units offer a view of the garden or the sea.
