Day 1 - Arrival

After arrival at the airport you will be taken to your hotel by taxi. Depending on your arrival time, you can already take a look in Dubrovnik after checking in.

Day 2 - Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik, also known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic". This city was in its heyday one of the most powerful cities in this part of Europe, with a fleet that could compete with that of Genoa and Venice. The city is unique with its huge fortress walls with bastions, its stairways and the old center of countless monuments. The entire historic center is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. At the end of the afternoon you go by ferry to the island of Korcula, the birthplace of the famous world traveler Marco Polo.

Day 3 - 13km, 04:00u, 390 ↑↓

Relive old times. Today you walk on an old road that was built in the time of Napoleon. Via Kneže you will arrive in Pupnat, this is the oldest village on the island of Korcula and is 12 km from Korcula town. The village has been cleverly moved by settlers in the hilly part of the island to not be noticed by pirates.

Day 4 - 15km, 04:00u, 160 ↑↓

Today's walk will lead you to the fishing village of Lumbarda. This is a village with quiet and cozy beaches and delicious wines. The Grk grape is grown around the village and used for fine dessert wines and white wine. Most winemakers produce enough to provide local restaurants with their wines and to meet their own needs. A good reason to try some local wines at the restaurants in Lumbarda.

Day 5 - Day off or...?

Are you taking a day off today or do you make the crossing to the mainland after breakfast? Orebic used to be the center of shipping and a beloved residence of many sea captains and ship owners. They had the most beautiful villas built that give the city a charming appearance. Just outside Orebic, on a hilltop, lies the 15th-century Franciscan monastery "Gospa od Angela". Just the view, on the coast and inland of Korcula, is more than worth the hike up. The chapel church of the monastery was established to protect the sailors from shipping disasters.

Day 6 - 15km, 04:30u, 240 ↑↓

After breakfast you will be taken by taxi to the starting point of your walking route. You will reach Pavja Luka via a sheltered and narrow forest path. The pebble beach is clean here and the water as always crystal clear. After visiting this beautiful beach you continue your walk on quiet paths to the seaside resort of Žrnovo.

Day 7 - 10km, 03:00u, 350 ↑↓

Today you go to the ancient and protected nature reserve Kocje with interesting rock formations. The area has an area of approximately 10,000 m2 where you will discover a part of this stone maze. According to legend, fairies have lived here that sometimes helped the locals. The water source in this nature reserve is therefore called 'Good Fairy'. The route runs through the village of Žrnovo through an impressive and wooded route back to the hotel.
