Trebizat kayak adventure
It is really our pleasure to offer you a spectacular kayak and canoe experience on the Trebizat River, just a few dozen kilometers from the Adriatic Sea and just outside the city of Capljina. The Trebizat River flows between hills and forests in an uninhabited area, this is a magical world away from busy beaches and swimming areas.
Due to its location near Central Dalmatia, the cities of Split (145 km), Dubrovnik (120 km) and Makarska (90 km) and exceptional beauty and contrast between the sea and the mountains, the Trebizat River is an ideal destination for every fan of adventure sports. Incredible beauty of nature combined with outdoor activities makes it an unforgettable experience here. Green riverbanks with all the flowers and birds are waiting to be discovered.
Most visitors come in the summer when the most beautiful rivers in Herzegovina are ideal for canoeing and kayaking. So if you are planning a vacation on the Adriatic coast, plan a day on the river. That promises to be the best active holiday. You may come looking for paradise, but the adventure in a kayak is the experience of a lifetime.

Route A (8 km):
This route is approximately 8 km long and runs from Matica to Struge. In this part of its stream, the river branches into different arms with many exciting rapids and cascades that will leave even the experienced canoeists out of breath. On average it takes 2.5 to 4 hours from start to finish, but this really depends on your endurance and preferences, which means how often and how long you decide to take a break to freshen up, swim or just to to relax, enjoy the sun and appreciate the scenery.Route B (12 km):
This route is a bit more challenging and is about 12 km long and goes from Studenci to Struge. In the first part of this route the river flows in a single body of water, deep but tame, just perfect for warming up your muscles and for those who are less experienced to also practice the movements and maneuvers. Due to the absence of human factor in this part of its stream, the river has retained all the characteristics of beautiful unspoilt wilderness, a rare sight to see in other parts of Europe. On average it takes 5 to 6 hours from start to finish and because it is the most demanding route of the two, the lunch break takes place halfway the route, so you can rest, relax and gather energy needed for the rest of the the route.Lunch:
After the end point is reached, the route ends with a lunch. You can choose from different dishes: our traditional meal the peka (chicken or veal with roasted vegetables under the bell), barbecue, fish, vegetarian dishes, fruit desserts, beer and homemade juices all prepared and presented by experienced culinary masters. Lunch is optional, but we recommend it, because it is gastronomic pleasure that goes around the day.Periods:
